Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Toast to Coast LLC (“Toast to Coast,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website toasttocoast.net (the “Site”) and provides round-trip day-trip transportation from the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area to destinations along the Oregon Coast (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have.
By using our Site or booking a trip, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal information in three ways: information you give us, information we receive when you book, and limited information collected automatically.
Information you give us. When you contact us, request information, or book a trip, you may provide:
- Your name, email address, and phone number;
- Trip details — the trip and date, number of guests, and the names of others in your party;
- Accessibility and health information you choose to share — for example, mobility or accessibility needs, or medical considerations you tell us about so we can accommodate you and help keep you safe;
- An emergency contact, if you provide one; and
- The contents of messages you send us.
Booking and payment information. Bookings and payments are handled by our booking provider, Bookeo, and our payment processor, Stripe. Your full payment card number is collected and processed by Stripe under its own security standards — we do not collect or store full card numbers on our Site. We may receive limited related information, such as a booking confirmation, the name on the order, and the last four digits or type of card.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our Site may automatically collect limited technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view — using essential cookies and similar technologies. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google’s servers may receive your IP address when a page loads. We do not currently use any website analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking pixels. If that changes, we will update this Policy first.
Information about other people. If you give us personal information about another traveler in your party or an emergency contact, you confirm that you have their permission to do so and to share it with us for these purposes.
Sensitive information
Accessibility and health-related details are considered sensitive information. We collect them only if you choose to provide them, use them only to deliver and accommodate your trip and to respond in an emergency, do not sell them, and limit who can access them. By providing this information, you consent to our using it for these purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for these specific purposes:
- Provide the Services — confirm and manage your booking and transportation;
- Communicate with you — send booking confirmations, trip-day logistics, schedule or itinerary changes, and respond to your questions (by email and, if you provide a mobile number, by text message);
- Accommodate and protect you — arrange for accessibility or health-related needs you share, and respond appropriately in a medical or safety emergency;
- Process payments and keep the financial, accounting, and tax records the law requires;
- Operate, secure, and improve our Site and Services;
- Marketing — only if you have opted in (for example, to a future newsletter), and, with your consent, to use photographs or video in which you appear (see Section 5); and
- Comply with the law and protect the rights, property, and safety of our guests, our business, and others.
We do not use your information for targeted or behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or “share” your personal information as those terms are used under U.S. consumer-privacy laws.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers acting on our behalf, who are permitted to use it only to perform services for us:
- Bookeo — reservation and booking management;
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Hostinger — website hosting;
- Our email and text-message providers — to send booking-related communications; and
- Google Fonts — which delivers the fonts our pages display and may receive your IP address in the process.
- In an emergency — with first responders, medical personnel, or others as needed to protect your health or safety.
- For legal reasons — to comply with applicable law or a lawful request, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our guests, our business, or others.
- Business transfers — if our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
A current list of the specific third parties with whom we share personal information is available on request at info@toasttocoast.net.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies that are necessary for the Site and the booking process to work. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies or pixels. As noted above, our pages load Google Fonts from Google’s content-delivery network.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without essential cookies. Where applicable, we honor recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control).
5. Your Communication Choices
- Transactional messages. Booking confirmations and trip-day logistics are part of the Services and are not promotional.
- Text messages (SMS). If you provide a mobile number, you consent to receive booking-related text messages from us. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing.
- Marketing email. We do not currently send marketing email. If we offer a newsletter in the future, it will be opt-in, and every message will include an unsubscribe link.
- Photos and video. With your consent (see our Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk & Participant Agreement), we may use photographs or video in which you appear in our marketing. You may decline or withdraw consent as described in that agreement.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. Our Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we rely on reputable providers — Bookeo and Stripe — that maintain their own security programs, including PCI-DSS standards for payment data. We limit access to personal information to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Booking, payment, and tax-related records are retained as long as required to meet our legal, accounting, and tax obligations (generally several years). Accessibility and health information is kept only as long as needed to provide your trip and is then deleted or minimized. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Although Oregon’s consumer-privacy law may not currently require it of a business our size, we voluntarily extend the following rights to all of our customers, regardless of where you live. You may ask us to:
- Confirm and access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your personal information;
- Receive a copy of your information in a portable format; and
- Opt out of any sale, targeted advertising, or profiling (note: we do not engage in these activities).
How to exercise your rights. Email info@toasttocoast.net with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or call 971-419-6662. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and will respond within 45 days (we may extend this once when reasonably necessary, and will tell you if we do). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If we decline a request, you may ask us to reconsider by replying to our response, and you may also contact the Oregon Department of Justice (oregonconsumer.gov).
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are intended for adults 18 and older, and our Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
Our Site and booking process may link to third-party websites and services (such as Bookeo or the businesses you visit on a trip). We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. Please review their privacy policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Policy on the Site and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
